PEGASUS takes flight for Germany
Germany’s PEGASUS SIGINT aircraft has completed its first flight.Hensoldt, Lufthansa Technik Defense and Bombardier Defense announced on October 23 that the first of three Global 6000-based Persistent German Airborne Surveillance System (PEGASUS) signals intelligence (SIGINT) aircraft currently being developed for the Luftwaffe had completed its maiden flight.This initial flight took place on October 23 from Bombardier’s Flight Test Center in Wichita, Kansas, where the aircraft will remain for further flight testing before it undergoes systems integration and aircraft certification with
