Prototype Jackaroo back in the air
The prototype Thruxton Jackaroo, G-AOEX (c/n 86483), has been restored to airworthiness for the first time in almost 60 years. The aircraft made its first post-restoration flight in February with Dan Griffith at the controls, and has since been issued with a permit to fly.The Jackaroo was developed in 1947 by several directors from the Thruxton-based Wiltshire Flying School.
