Qantas buys Dash 8-Q400s to replace older models
Qantas has announced that it will acquire 14 De Havilland Canada Dash 8-Q400s to replace its older Q200 and Q300s in the QantasLink fleet. The airline currently operates 31 of the type. Deliveries of the mid-life airframes, sourced from an unnamed international carrier, will begin at the end of this year and give the regional subsidiary a single-type turboprop fleet.
