Qatar Airways and Airbus settle A350 dispute
Airbus and Qatar Airways have settled a legal dispute over the “degradation of surface and paint” and the grounding of the airline’s A350 aircraft. Both parties put out a joint statement on February 1 stating the issue has been resolved after they reached an “amicable and mutually agreeable settlement”. “A repair project is now underway and both parties look forward to getting these aircraft safely back in the air,” the statement added. Details of the resolution have not been revealed.
