RAAF C-130J-30 SATCOM trial

THE RAAF is trialling the use of a satellite communication antenna and suite on board No 37 Squadron C-130J-30 A97-448 between June and December this year. The system provides greater bandwidth than previous equipment fitted to the RAAF’s Hercules and facilitates live streaming and transfer of large files while in flight.
