RAAF Hawk upgrade complete
Australasia BAE SYSTEMS has completed the Lead-in Fighter Capability Assurance Program (LIFCAP) for the Royal Australian Air Force’s (RAAF’s) Hawk Mk127 fleet. The company brought the advanced trainers up to a standard comparable to the RAF’s Hawk T2s under an AUS$365m contract awarded in 2014. Minister for Defence Christopher Pyne announced that work had been concluded on the final aircraft on March 7.
