‘The Fall of the RAF’s Eagle’ set for Saturday 13 May

The RAF Museum Midlands at Cosford, Shropshire, will host a whole-day Royal Aeronautical Society conference on Saturday 13 May entitled ‘TSR2: The Fall of the RAF’s Eagle’, assessing different aspects of the aircraft in depth. According to the organisers, the event will “present the requirement and the resulting programme in the context of the geo-political, military, political and industrial circumstances.”

The conference will be centred around the Cold War lecture theatre at the Cosford site. It will start at 10.00hrs and last until 18.00hrs. Entry is ticket-only and includes a catered lunch, as well as teas and coffees during intermissions. The event is open to the public, but RAeS and RAFM members can secure discounted tickets for £30; the cost for non-members is £40.
