Rapier Defence System revealed at Newark

Newark Air Museum has put on display what’s believed to be the only complete example of MBDA’s Rapier Field Standard C ground-based air defence system. The Rapier air defence system on display at Newark Air Museum HOWARD HEELEYIn service since 1971, some Rapier systems are still defending military assets around the world – Rapier FSC was the last system used by RAF Regiments to protect its airfields, before the British Army took on that responsibility. Rapier was used to help
