Rare dual control Mustang restored

American Aero Services has completed the five-year restoration of a 1943-built North American TP-51C Mustang. American Aero Services/Platinum FightersThis unusual dual control version of the fighter has joined the US register as N251MX, and was recently listed for sale via Platinum Fighter Sales. Now named ‘The Stars Lookdown’, it was originally built as P-51C Mustang 42-103293 and assigned to the USAAF in March 1944
