Red Arrows fly with Gnat to mark 60th anniversary
A Folland Gnat has recently flown in formation with the RAF’s Red Arrows to help mark the team’s 60th display season. Gnat T1 ‘XR992’/G-MOUR (actually XS102) from the Heritage Aircraft Trust flew with the Red Arrows on March 11, which included a flypast over Lincoln Cathedral. This particular Gnat wears the colour scheme of one of the RAF’s predecessor display teams, the Yellowjacks. The Gnat was used by the Red Arrows from its first season in 1965 until being replaced
