Restoration of oldest surviving B-N Islander completed

G-AVCN unveiled at Wight Military and Heritage MuseumOn 22 April, Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander G-AVCN — the third example built and the oldest survivor — was unveiled at the Wight Military and Heritage Museum at Northwood Camp, near Cowes on the Isle of Wight, following a 13-year restoration by the Britten-Norman Aircraft Preservation Society.BNAPS chairman Bob Wealthy says, “Restoration work started in 2012 and finished during March 2023, with the team of 12 putting in around 15,000 hours of work. Future
