Russia deploys MiG-29SMT to Syria

Russian MoD THE RUSSIAN Aerospace Forces (VKS, Vozdushno- Kosmicheskiye Sily) have deployed MiG-29SMT multirole fighters to Syria for the first time. Photos and video footage released by the Russian defence ministry on September 13 confirmed the presence of at least three of the fighters at Hmeymim air base in Syria’s Latakia province.
