Sea Harrier and Lynx arrive in Falklands for display
The Falkland Islands Museum & National Trust (FINMT) has received BAE Systems Sea Harrier F/A.2 ZH801 and Westland Lynx HMA.8SRU XZ725 following an epic journey by the two aircraft from the United Kingdom to the South Atlantic. Both the ‘SHAR’ carrier-borne fighter and the Lynx helicopter are remembered by the islanders for the role they played during the 1982 campaign to liberate the Falklands from Argentinean invaders.
