Second US Navy carrier arrives in Middle East as Israel-Hamas conflict intensifies

The US Navy’s USS Dwight D Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (IKECSG) has arrived in the Middle East as part of a show of force in the wake of the Hamas attack on Israel. The USS Gerald R Ford (CVN-78), front, and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69), rear, transit the Mediterranean Sea on November 3.
