Shackleton WR963 completes move to the Yorkshire Air Museum
All sections of Avro Shackleton WR963 are now on site at the aircraft’s new home, the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington, outside York. The fuselage, cockpit, wings and a fourth Rolls-Royce Griffon engine were transported to Elvington by road from the aircraft’s long-time home at Coventry Airport, Warwickshire over January 5/6, 2025.
