Daniel Johnston concludes his Russian odyssey, visiting some of the country’s most remote spots in the pursuit of rare and unusual Soviet-era aircraft. At the time of the author’s visit, Tupolev Tu-134B-3, RA-65693 (c/n 63221), was the last example of the type flying scheduled services. Alrosa confirmed in early April that the aircraft’s final flight was expected to take place on May 20.
