Slovakia donates S-300 missile system to Ukraine
Slovakia will provide an S-300 ground-based air defence (GBAD) battery to Ukraine to bolster its anti-air capabilities, as Russia continues its reorientation its forces to focus on Donbass and the east of the country. In an April 8 statement released on social media, Eduard Heger, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, confirmed the decision to provide the S-300 system to Ukraine, adding it was “our duty to help” and to “not be ignorant to the human of human lives lost”
