Super Sabre makes airborne return in Texas
The Collings Foundation’s North American F-100F Super Sabre 56-3844 (N26AZ) flew for the first time in several years on June 30 from Ellington Field in Houston, Texas. The aircraft, operated by the Vietnam War Flight Museum, performed some successful ‘touch and gos’. This jet flew with the USAF from 1958 until 1970, and later flew with a civilian operator in Europe Jim Firmin , Click here to find out more about the Vietnam War
