Swiss Hornets practise low-level flying during Yorknite 2021
For the third year running, RAF Leeming in North Yorkshire is hosting the Swiss Air Force and its Exercise Yorknite, which (as its title suggests) is predominantly for night flying training. As in previous years, F/A-18 Hornets arrived at the RAF base, though were joined for the first time on this exercise, by three Cougar helicopters to use the Electronic Warfare Tactics facility at RAF Spadeadam in Cumbria.
