Scenery developer Verticalsim has announced KTPA – Tampa International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) is now available.

The package is an authentic recreation of the actual airport, based on 2023 data with custom taxiway signs, handcrafted mesh, taxiway bridges and high-resolution aerial imagery.

Other details include airport lighting and a blend of custom and photorealistic textures for the best of both worlds. Various animations include HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning) fans, flags and trams. It also sports partial modelling of the airside areas and the terminal interiors along with AI routing, vehicle pathing and real-world airline codes.

The surrounding area is handcrafted with landmarks such as Raymond James Stadium, International Plaza and Grand Hyatt Hotel, etc. It is also optimised for performance and takes full advantage of the latest features of the MSFS SDK’s.
