It is with great sadness that the staff and contributors of PC Pilot magazine learnt of the recent passing of long-term contributor and good friend Tony Radmilovich.

In addition to being a talented furniture designer/builder based in Oregon in the US, Tony was very active in flight simulation circles since the late 90s and contributed substantially to websites, publications and file libraries as well as being a prolific aircraft repainter where his work was also used in commercial products.

In 2011, he suffered a painful spinal injury that required surgery. Sadly, post-surgical complications left Tony in even more pain and requiring significant medications leaving him barely able to function, let alone work. Subsequent infections and numerous surgeries almost cost him his life but he fought on stoically despite increasing adversity.

Facing financial ruin, the global flight simulation community, PC Pilot, captains from many virtual airlines around the world and prominent flight simulation industry figures banded together for a 24-hour marathon of online flight simulation to raise money for his ongoing medical and living costs. Tony was forever grateful for the love and support shown - largely by people who had never met him but who appreciated the time and effort he made that contributed to their lives through flight simulation.

Tony was a generous, warm and caring friend to all he came into contact with both within the flight sim and general communities. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife Kim.
