Third RAF Rivet Joint arrives in UK
THE THIRD and final RC-135W Rivet Joint surveillance aircraft for the Royal Air Force arrived in the UK on June 6, completing deliveries for Project Airseeker. Although the aircraft was initially ferried into RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk, on the 6th, it made the short flight to RAF Waddington, Lincolnshire at 1730hrs on June 7 after delays caused by strong crosswinds at Waddington.
