Transavia Boeing 737 attempted take-off on Schiphol taxiway
Dutch air safety authorities have published a highly critical report into events leading to a jet attempting take-off from a taxiway at Schiphol Airport According to officials, on September 6, 2019 crews operating a scheduled Boeing 737-800 service with Transavia made the error, which has been classed as a serious incident. Just after 0600hrs, the jet, PH-HSJ (c/n 42150) taxied in a northerly direction on Taxiway C to Runway 18C when it received clearance to take-off from 18C. The report
