Transavia Boeing 737 attempted take-off on Schiphol taxiway

Dutch air safety authorities have published a highly critical report into events leading to a jet attempting take-off from a taxiway at Schiphol Airport According to officials, on September 6, 2019 crews operating a scheduled Boeing 737-800 service with Transavia made the error, which has been classed as a serious incident.
