UK police order H135s and announce heli-UAV trial

The UK National Police Air Service (NPAS) is buying new H135 helicopters and is to conduct a heli-UAV trial. Seven Airbus Helicopters H135 helicopters are being procured for the initial phase of NPAS' fleet renewal. The firm order, announced on March 12, 2025, confirms Airbus as the exclusive supplier of helicopters for NPAS for up to six years. The order is a result of a framework contract signed by NPAS and BlueLight Commercial, the publicly funded agency supporting procurement for
