Scenery developer UK2000 has announced Aberdeen Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.

Aberdeen Airport is a primary transport hub for the northeast of Scotland with domestic and international routes throughout the UK and Europe. It is also an important airport for industries such as oil and gas; helicopters are the primary mode of transportation for personnel travelling to and from offshore installations such as oil rigs and platforms.

The package from UK2000 is an accurate rendition of the actual airport based on 2023 data and sporting HD photographic images with Physically Based Rendering (PBR) effects throughout.

Other highlights include detailed airport buildings accurate sloping runways and enhanced lighting effects. The package also features a high-resolution ground image with realistic markings, night lighting effects, signage and custom vegetation. Static general aviation aircraft and airport vehicles are also modelled. It is available on simMarket for €19.19 (approx £16.50).
