Ukraine air assets outmatched against Russia

The relative weaknesses of Ukraine’s air defence capabilities would leave any attempt to launch an aerial counterattack to a Russian invasion of its territory as extremely vulnerable given Moscow’s qualitative and quantitative advantages, defence experts have stated. Speaking during a UK Defence Committee hearing on February 8, Rob Lee, fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, and Samuel Cranny-Evans, military sciences research analyst at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), said that Ukraine’s aerial weaknesses would be ruthlessly exploited by
