United Airlines now has world’s largest mainline fleet
United Airlines says it now has the largest fleet in the world, following the delivery of its 1,000th mainline aircraft. Patrick Quayle, the carrier’s senior vice-president of global network planning and alliances, wrote in a LinkedIn post on February 12, 2025: “We received delivery of our 1,000th mainline aircraft – and we’re the first airline ever to do so.” The landmark aircraft was Boeing 737 MAX 9 N77584 (c/n 67624), delivered to United’s Seattle/Tacoma International Airport hub on January 28,
