United Airlines offers passengers live weather maps

United Airlines now sends passengers live weather radar maps when flights are delayed by inclement conditions. A United Airlines statement to Key.Aero explained how it works: “Customers who opt in to receive text messages will automatically receive links to radar maps during weather-related delays. “Customers on all flights can access links to weather maps in the United app under flight status updates, and United displays radar maps in the gate area when a flight has been delayed due to weather.”In
