US border agency begins to scale back AEW-configured Orion fleet

The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency’s Air and Marine Operations (AMO) branch has started scaling back its P-3B operations and has retired at least two of its radar-equipped Orions. Lockheed P-3B Orion (N145CS, BuNo 155299) was flown to Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, in September and has since joined the vast aircraft collection owned by the Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, Arizona.
