USAF B-52H receives a retro look
USAF B-52H Stratofortress 'Wolfpack' receives a retro look B-52H Stratofortress 61-0028, nicknamed Wolfpack, arrived at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, in early 2024 for programmed depot maintenance, where the aircraft is stripped of paint, inspected and repaired. On this occasion, the aircraft of the 49th Test and Evaluation Squadron of Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, was painted in dayglo orange on the forward fuselage, wingtips, engine nacelles and vertical stabiliser to commemorate NB-52A 52-0003 during the testing of the North American X-15.
