Aircraft developer Aerobask has released the ViperJet eX for X-Plane 12.

The aircraft is built from the ground for X-Plane 12 and features a detailed 3D model with 4K PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures, an authentic flight model and an FMOD sound pack with doppler shift attenuation and flyby effects.

The 3D cockpit features a highly detailed panel with a simulated noise-reduction headset, various animations and a canopy lock and seal logic. Other highlights include a stowable tablet, backlit instruments and rain/and defrost effects on the canopy. The circuit breakers are also fully functional.

The custom-coded instruments include an Avidyne EXP5000 with optional synthetic vision, a moving map display, a HUD, pop-up DFC90 autopilot and engine monitoring.

The package comes with seven liveries, ground equipment such as a battery-powered GPU, remove-before-flight flags, chocks and a tow bar. It is also virtual-reality ready and includes Avitab integration and support for the RealityXP GTN750 and Laminar's GNS530.

The ViperJet eX is available on x-plane.org for $34.95.
