Both the Gnat T1, XR571, and Hawk T1 replica (marked as XX227) wear the colours of the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team – the Red Arrows. The Gnat being offered for sale first flew on October 4, 1963 and was operated by 4 Flying Training School (4 FTS) at RAF Valley on Anglesey. The aircraft was
