WestJet launches third transatlantic route to Edinburgh
Canadian carrier WestJet started a new transatlantic route on June 21 with the introduction of a summer seasonal flight from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Edinburgh. The service will run three times a week until September 4. This is the third route launched by WestJet to Edinburgh, in addition to existing connections from Calgary and Toronto. At less than 2,800 miles, the Halifax-Edinburgh route is one of the shortest across the Atlantic and will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft. The
