The Microsoft Flight Simulator team has announced World Update VII: Australia is now available.

The World Update includes more accurate elevation data for Australia, along with updated aerial imagery and water mask across various locations.

For this update, Orbx has handcrafted four airports: Longreach (YLRE), Mount Beauty (YMBT), Paraburdoo (YPBO) and Shellharbour (YSHL) along with high-resolution detail to over 100 other airports. More than 500 missing airports have been added globally, including 54 in Australia.

Other highlights include 94 custom crafted Points of Interest (POIs), 16 new activities, including five bush trips, six discovery flights and five landing challenges. New photogrammetry Cities include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide., Perth, Cairns, Darwin, Townsville, Mackay and Bunbury.

The update is available for free on the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace.
