Mars makes it to Pima museum

Fire bomber Martin JRM-1 Mars BuNo 76820/ C-FLYK Philippine Mars arrived at the Pima Air and Space Museum during the early hours of Saturday 17 May at the end of a 150-mile, week-long road trip from Lake Pleasant, 43 miles north of Phoenix.

Flug Werk FW 190 arrives in Turkey

A Flug Werk FW 190 A-8/N arrived at the MSÖ Air & Space Museum facility at the Sivrihisar Aviation Center in Eskisehir, north-western Turkey on 8 May following its acquisition by Ali İsmet Öztürk from Dan Kirkland in California.

8th Air Force Me 262 victor flies in Mustang Marinell

On 11 April, 100-year-old, Minneapolis-Saint Paul-born US Army Air Forces P-51D Mustang pilot Col Joe Peterburs visited Duxford to fly with Isabel Rutland in the back of P-51D 44-13521/G-MRLL Marinell.

Cri-Cri airborne at La Ferté-Alais

Salmson D7 Cri-Cri Major F-AZAB of the Salis family’s Casques de Cuir collection made its maiden flight at La Ferté-Alais with Edmond Salis at the controls on 11 April, following a seven-year restoration. It is the only example flying.
