P/O John Bland flew from RAF Gravesend and is buried in Gravesend Cemetery.
Shoreham Museum (in Kent) has done a lot in marking the sites of crashes in the area.

Don’t want to thread drift too much but i can thoroughly recommend the Shoreham Aircraft Museum (yes Kent) for a visit. Quite superb array of dig artifacts and parts from allied and axis aircraft crash sites!
