bms44. this is part of something I am trying to influence people with ! that almost every family has … somewhere within their recent history and family members a collection of photos from this period … that may be of no interest to surviving members of the deceased and maybe lost forever ! Some years ago I telephoned the ‘Kent Messenger’ newspaper trying to find a photo of an ME109 my father witnessed being shot down. I was told that a lot of photos from the period were thrown out due to lack of space !! :rolleyes:
