Personaly I feel that the principles that the Maltese authorities under the guidance of the War Museum and Malta Aviation Museum have established is ;If Human remains exist within the wreck then it is a war grave and should remain untouched !!!.Unless because of dredging or other accidental cause it is unintentionaly brought to the surface then the remains are dealt with in the appropriate manor.No Wrecks are raised or removed in Maltese waters without intensive research and investigation.For example from Finding Hurricane Z3055 it was nearly 2 years before everything had been fully checked and prepared and she was finally raised.

There are many accessible wrecks around the Maltese islands but if they are visited they are for the most part treated with respect one being the just post war wreck in St Pauls Bay area where the remains of the navigator are still with the aircraft but the pilot managed to get out.And also in some instances the relatives do not want the remains disturbed.Its like naval wrecks we dont go dragging war ships up because there none on display and there might be 329 crew on board that should have a decent burial I am sorry the same principle applies.

respect should be given to war dead of whatever nationality and not just on the principle of there arent many of those aircraft left so lets go and drag this one up regardless.there are alternatives to be considered.:cool::)
