Whilst we are all indulging ourselves in healthy and excited idle speculation, please let me have another go:

The four engined bomber script isn’t a smoke screen for a two engined bomber project is it? Mid 2010 delivery for the second engine doesn’t suggest a particularly friendly delivery for a possible outrageous Jackson/Dambusters useage, given the other work required.

1. They haven’t commissioned a wooden fuselage from down under on the QT to mount these on perhaps?

2. They haven’t bought the Beaufighter off TFC on the QT and are preparing two Lanc power eggs in advance of converting it to a more CAA and parts/prop availability friendly Beaufighter II?? 😀
