I am quite sure that the old hanger at Toronto Island was used by Austin Airways between the wars.
Definitely not built by the RNAF
We used it while filming the movie “Amelia” . A great classic aircraft hanger

I now know that the Hangar was built between 1937 and 39. I’ve got a photo dated 1938 showing the construction of Hangar 1.
