The prototype and some very early Mk.1s had a domed “hubcap” but the flatter disc fairing was fitted to a lot of Mk.V’s. I think early hub diameters were 10.25″ and the 3 spokes were 12″. But there are more knowledgable Spit buffs on the forum.

The rims we have in vary but we have two around 10 inch one takes 7.5 x 10 and the 8x 10 1/4.Had a ****** of a time getting tyres recently i know Dunlop are still producing but they are around £270 each.
A company in the US is quoting $268 each fro mains plus $65 each for tubes.
These smaller rims one is solid and the other has a bead ring the latter seems to suffer badly and worse than the other type for corrosion and the older and uloved they are the worse they are and more likely to fall apart.

Both use the same size centre hub bearings though so the stub appears to be a standard .

A lot of horrendous condition wheels tyres and Undercarriage legs recently advertised and for daft money!!!.
