The Thor Pads are on private property as far as I know, I had permission to be there but. If you walk north up the peritrack at the west of the airfield which is a public footpath you can get some relly good views of the pads from there. there is a track (HERE) down to the pads from the peritrack about halfway up (old E/W runway) there is no sign saying private but it isn’t on my o/s map as a footpath either so I guess it is a farm access track.
