As a footnote to this thread, I took a final photograph today.. I hope you appreciate it – I was up to my shins in snow….

The foundations for the former terminal (notable in the photo by its absence…) were completely removed by JCB, so there’s not even anything left for Tony Robinson to dig up in a huindred years…
