Without wishing to embarrass any contributor here can I just say that I couldn’t wait until 25th December either and am already deeply in to “Finding The Few” a book by some bloke called Andy Saunders.

We all know there have been the odd conflicts between ‘amateur’ recovery groups and officialdom. But reading through this has brought my blood to boiling point.

Seriously.. if you care about the guys who gave their lives for their country, or have any interest (beyond watching Susannah York) in the Battle of Britain then this is a ‘must have’

Another, and important, tribute to The Few

Moggy

I know its an old thread…..and my apologies for bringing up Christmas again and so soon.

However, did you finish the read Moggy?

Pleasing to see that “the other” aviation magazine gave it an excellent review and a four-roundel score. I am not sure it will be reviewed elsewhere in the historic aviation press, though.

As I write this, “Finding The Foe” is in its final stages. Being snowed in has speeded up the process somewhat!!
