Avro Avian

Some interesting projects there, sorry I wrote down J1/B instead of J5B. Appart from a Mk III, I think my next preference in Austers is the J5B

With the Avro Avian, what are the drawings of, is there sufficient detail to build a replica. Lang Kidby rebuild a Avro Avian so we have some local knowledge about Avians. I have had a theory for a while that that we need some good original replica projects that can be built under the experimental category.

An Avro Avian would fit the bill with a “converted to upright” Gipsy Major as the power plant.

I wonder what became of Lang’s Avian?
