I thought of that site too but I think it only deals with the official Squadron badges granted in much the same way as a Squadron colour. As the badge was only officially sanctioned in 1936 or later, following the Squadrons stay in Malta 1935 – 1936, I suspect the badge as used by the Squadron in the time period Rob requires would be a simple symbol denoting Pi.
