Zebedee is correct, its the Bristol 188 and I think the other cockpit is a mock up of the NA39 (it certainly looks like one of the other photos I have).

Here is another photo, this time of the blower tunnel itself which is still at Boscombe and still earning its crust.

I lost count of the times I rushed to the office window to look for the Lanc flying over when I heard the roar of four Merlins being wound up for a trial.:o

From what I can see (NF Venom, a Venom of Vampire wing, a Barracuda and a Dragonfly) I would think its taken sometime in the 50s, but as Boscombe still operates an aircraft built in 1943 (Harvard) and others dating from the 60s it could be a lot later.
