there are two Spits in Dutch AF colours, PV202/G-CCCA DX based, and newly restored SM520/G-ILDA Thruxton based.
and a pleasure to see the two together, i don’t suppose anybody know if SM520/G-ILDA is returning to DX ??????????????
i would have made a trip down to DX if i’d known, it’s a shame it did’nt stay for the weekend, a superb restoration and this is i believe it’s first outing away from Thrukkers.
going on from a previous thread it’s a pity ARCo are so private, it would have been a great idea to have a photo-opportunity Friday, drag out a couple of Spits, put the two two seaters together, perhaps a small fee, all towards a great cause, i’m sure there is quite a few on this forum who would be interested if it happened ??

Not first outing from Thruxton – spent the tuesday and wednesday before at Goodwood, I believe it also visited Benson last week.
