I think this aircraft was part of the Engineering Officers Training Flight at Cranwell. I remember a vist there many years ago. It was complete and immaculate then.
I remember the guy that showed us round saying that they had done a lot of work, including replacing all the hydraulics, as it was supposed to be going to the RAF Museum.
The tail section was retained, and used to be in one of the workshops at Cranwell.
A real shame it didn’t make it to the museum, as they don’t have a B(1)8 anymore.:(
